I took these photographs at one of my favorite locations, the beautiful Sedgwick Gardens at Long Hill in Beverly, MA. Two tiny children in white run away from the camera through a dark and eerie wood. They wear white, and their clothing is transparent as a result, allowing you to look through it to the layers beyond. The final of the three layers of shows a young girl looking directly at the camera, small and ghostly.

This image is mournful and somber because it deals with the loss of a young person, but it is also beautiful in its remembrance. The one who is lost is accompanied by another figure who remains with us.

This original dimensional photograph is constructed of custom-made thick plexiglass and images printed on transparent polyester. At 22" x 17" x 5", it is my largest box to date. It will be securely packaged and shipped via FedEx.
